2 Years Later...and We Still Like Each Other

Everyone dreams of falling in love with their best-friend. I was lucky enough to find mine. Right before we both met, we had each decided we were done looking for a relationship. We both had gone through some tough experiences and were just really fed up with people. They always say the minute you stop looking for a relationship, one will find you. All I can say is I'm so thankful for the guys before Clayton that made me give up so I could find him! He's 10 times the man those boys ever will be.

Today is our 2 year anniversary (March 6th) and I can't wait to see where another year takes us. We've been through a lot together. We've had to lift each other up, calm each other down, and take care of one another when we aren't at our best. We've learned so much from each other.

Thank You

I want to thank Clayton for being there for a lot of things. I had to lean on him a lot in the past few years and I know it takes a toll on him. He was there for the death of my grandpa, he was there when I didn't get my dream job, and he was there when I just really needed him most. I've needed to cry on his shoulder a lot and I've needed him to put aside his needs for mine, and he's done nothing short of that.

I can say that we didn't start in a place like that. We both fumbled through communicating properly and just didn't know how to deal with stress and issues together. It made my senior year of college really hard and it made our new relationship even harder. But since we're celebrating our 2 year anniversary I can thankfully say we managed to work through it all. We had to choose love every single day. That made all the difference. And we always say, there are some days where we don't like each other (mostly because I'm a little too sassy) but we ALWAYS love each other!

Many More to Come

In 2 years, we've learned a lot and made even more memories. We talk about the future a lot and we've got so many things planned. We're both working hard and enjoying life in our 20's. I'm looking forward to many more adventures, many more laughs, and a lot more love!
