Another day another concert! Clayton and I have gone on a ton of adventures so far this year. We started in Nashville, saw 2 Hawks games, went to Vegas, Saw Panic at the Disco, and the most recent was seeing Fall Out Boy at Wrigley Field! It was a goal of ours to spend less money on stuff so we could spend more on experiences, and I think it's safe to say that we accomplished that.

Reliving Our High School Days

To be honest, this concert was kind of random for us. I was just browsing online when I saw this concert. The opening acts for Fall Out Boy were Machine Gun Kelly and Rise Against. Clayton LOVES both of those artists and I knew he like Fall Out Boy. I'm a HUGE Fall Out Boy fan, so it was the best of both worlds for us! We both recalled jamming out to these bands in high school to get us through our angsty teen phase...

Historic Wrigley

Neither of us are Cubs fans, in fact Clayton is a Cards fan, so you can imagine his disdain for Wrigley. But all in all, it was really cool to be in Wrigley. I love the area and the open air restaurants next door were really cool.I will say that parking is shit so if you're going there, take the red line! It was SO much easier and about $45 cheaper!

What We Learned

Every time we go to Chicago we learn something new and this time we realized the best thing of all.... WE'RE READY TO MOVE! I've always known that I wanted to live in a big city and get the heck out of my hometown. Clayton on the other hand has always been a little less enthusiastic about leaving. He's never moved away from home so there are a lot of things that would change for him. We were sitting in Corner Bakery near our hotel and he looked up and said, "I could really see myself living here"...and that did it. We talked about everything that we need to make happen before we could move and i think it just really motivated us. We are on a mission to pay of debt and make the jump to Chicago! Fingers crossed we can do it sometime next year!
